The difference is that candida is a type of fungus. Usually candida is identified by certain parts of the body that it affects, i.e. vagina, under folds of skin. Usually treatment is with OTC creams, like lamisil, mycelex, etc. Sometimes if severe enough, a Dr. may prescribe a medication taken by mouth called diflucan.
I just started looking into candida albican because my wife may have it. There are several websites that I’ve found about this product called “Threelac.” Various websites promote this product as a “cure” for candida albican, commonly referred to as thrush.
But just know that Threelac is a line of products in a multi-level marketing scheme. I don’t think it’s a scam, but they ask you to reference them when buying the product.
Here are several websites that I’ve found. But do your research first. I am still doing mine. Hope that steers you in the right direction. http://www.thrushfree.com, http://www.candidafree.net, or http://www.candidayeastinfection.com.
